Weeping Angels: A Force to Reckon With

So, I have been trying to sum up all of Doctor Who's scariest monsters, from Daleks to Zygons, and pick the scariest one. So far, I've determined that Daleks and Cybermen just don't have that scary element that would make a person scream. There is only one monster that I can think of that would make me crap my pants upon seeing one, and that's the Weeping Angels. They are deadly fast, are extremely adorable at first, and move in the dark and when no one is looking. It is hilarious that they don't kill people by stabbing, tearing, smashing, or even choking. They send people back in time, so that they are old and near death (or already dead). It's freaky! Well, I'm sure Whovian gamers are pretty mad that BBC has not come up with a good, challenging Doctor Who game yet, but I found a game called "Weeping Angels" on the PC, made by a guy named Vixolent. It is in the same style as the "Slender" series, where you have to avoid Slenderman in the woods as you collect pieces of paper. The only difference is that there is no Slenderman. Only a few innocent Weeping Angel statues....... Yeah. Talk about crapping pants. It was such a good game, visit Vixolent's YouTube video for a free download of the game here:

Have fun guys! Don't blink! (Oh, yeah, and by the way, your character blinks on occasion, so it gives the game an even scarier element!)

Tom Baker's Scarf: Witty Little Knitter

Alright, folks! I have found the most wonderful spot to look for help in making any version of the 4th Doctor's colorful scarf! It is a very very very informative website made by a lady named Tara Carstensen, a wonderful knitter and crafter. She shows how to make a scarf from every season of Tom Baker's years, and even show how to make the Shada scarf and the scarf from season 18 (it is the only red and purple version). Super cool, and you will find patterns for everything on her site here at wittylittleknitter.com

This is her with one of her many creations:

Just love it!

Favorite Doctor Who Quotes

So, lately I have been searching through my episodes for inspiring quotes from the Doctor and came up with these:

"There's no point in growing up if you can't act a little childish sometimes."
-4th

"Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person."
-10th (Lazarus Experiment)

“For some people, small, beautiful events are what life is all about."
-5th (Earthshock)

“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
-11th (Vincent and the Doctor)

"Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, TARDIS...bingle bongle dingle dangle, yikkitydo yikkityda, ping pong, lippytappytoota, and twenty three."
-10th (Midnight)

What's your favorite quote? Post it here.

Who's Your Favorite Doctor?

So, I want to know, who is your favorite Doctor? It can be any one of them, even from the old series.

[I don't have a favorite, but I can tell you that I would lean more towards either the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) or the 10th (David Tennant)]

All Tennant

David Tennant is probably my favorite out of the new series Doctors, isn't he just gorgeous?

And, here he is in front of the TARDIS.

Here he is in drag. And all you can manage to say is "Ummmmm....?"

This was an incredibly funny skit, although seeing Tennant in a skirt and blonde wig was a little strange.

A beautiful, incredibly realistic, drawing of David Tennant as the Doctor. Love it!!
